AREDS2 is a major study looking at the use of key vitamins and minerals in reducing the onset and progression of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) of the eye. The vision life formulation does not include beta carotene, so is suitable for use by smokers. Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) and zinc contribute to maintenance of normal vision.
